Yvette is a Colorado native and Sean is a Navy brat
born in San Diego and living in Colorado since 1986. Yvette has spent most of her working life in health care, both for profit
and non-profit, while Sean has been a small business owner and house father. In 2006 they realized their dream of living in
the country and keeping horses and began working with Freedom Rescue in 2007. When living in the city they worked with various
dog rescues and fostered 20+ great danes and greyhounds. Currently the Cowlishaw house consists of 13 different animals; 2
children, Sean & Yvette; and Yvette's Mother and Grandfather.
